Lynden Christian Middle School in Lynden, Washington has a full-time teaching position for a choir director for the 2022-2023 school year. The courses include teaching choral and vocal techniques to students in 5th through 8th grade along with conducting multiple performances and concerts throughout the year. It may also include a focus on the 6th grade musical along with an additional fine arts class dependent on the experience and skill of the applicant. Qualified candidates must have a mature and growing commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; have a passion for Christian education where faith is nurtured and a biblical worldview is consistently integrated into their instruction; have a love for and enthusiasm to teach in a middle school classroom; have a bachelor’s degree and high proficiency in choral/music qualifying for Washington State certification.
