Tes are looking for a full time supply Music teacher to work in the Falkland Islands initially until August as an interim post, but would happily offer a longer contract and appoint on a substantive basis for the right candidate. The Music teacher is needed to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Music classes, up to and including GCSE. The role also includes support for some Key stage 2 students, providing extra-curricular clubs, as well as involvement in community musical events and activities

The ideal candidate will be a graduate teacher with QTS (recognisable in the UK) who has completed the statutory induction year as an NQT and has 2 or more years post-NQT experience teaching Music to KS3 and KS4 at a good or better standard. This is an unaccompanied post (unless the contract is converted to a full-time substantive position, in which case it can change to be accompanied.
