This position is split between Horning Middle School and eAchieve Academy. 80% of the time will be teaching choir at Horning Middle School with 20% teaching general music virtually through eAchieve Adademy. Horning Middle School has a school-wide house model to meet the academic and social emotional needs of learners. The ideal candidate is interested in providing inclusive practices as a part of a team-oriented culture. This involves planning quality instruction, executing purposeful lessons, and evaluating student-learning outcomes to inform future instructional decisions. Candidates should also have a passion for modeling positive contributions to the school culture through high expectations. An interest in working with diverse students and families is required.
