Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Piano/Music Instructor for the Meadowbrook Community Center. Do you have a passion for Piano? The Piano/Music Instructor is responsible for teaching weekly private lessons to beginner, intermediate level to students from age 5 through adult. Previous experience creating curriculum and planning piano, or other instrument/music lesson plans is preferred.

SCHEDULE: One or possibly more weeknights (Mon-Thurs) between 3:30-7pm

LOCATION: Meadowbrook Community Center

START DATE: January 2022

END DATE: Ongoing

PAY RANGE: $24 – $28 Hourly DOE

REQUIREMENTS:

• Over 18 years of age
• Experience teaching piano or music teaching experience to various age groups
• If hired, must pass criminal background check
• If hired, must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID
• If hired, must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required

This is a part-time position. Benefits include 401(k) (depending upon the number of hours worked), Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST)
