Hands & Hearts Drumming is seeking Enthusiastic & Passionate Substitute Teachers for preschool & K-5 music classes! Come have fun with us and the students! It will be the best part of you day!

We are also seeking Enthusiastic & Fun P/T Drum/Music Instructors to teach preschool enrichment & K-5 classes this spring/summer/fall. Our Drum Instructors travel to various preschool & elementary school locations in & around the Seattle, Portland, & Las Vegas areas & teach introductory djembe drum classes to preschool & elementary students.

Applicants with music & teaching experience along with strong classroom management experience with the ability to teach introductory djembe/percussion classes (or be trained) are strongly preferred. We value our instructors & offer them the opportunity to expand when available positions arise. Instructors are among the first considered for Management & other openings.

Qualifications:

Passionate about providing music education opportunities for preschool & elementary students.

• At least two years experience teaching children
• Positive Behavior Classroom Management experience
• Exceptional time management & communication skills
• Ability to work with both children, parents, & clients
• Ability to pass a strict background check
• Dependable transportation for work
• Positive outlook and collaborative disposition
• Ability to load and unload multiple bags of drums & instruments up to 20lbs each

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in elementary or music’
