Description
The School District of Marshfield is seeking an Instrumental Music Teacher for grades K-6 individual band lessons and High School Assistant Band Director. The Music Teacher will create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for music education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members. This position may be assigned to more than one elementary school in a given school year. The teacher shall allow for flexible scheduling to work with staff and building needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Certification through the WI Department of Public Instruction in K-12 Instrumental Music (1506) required.
- Valid Drivers License required.
