    About the Position

    This is a .8 FTE non-continuing position for an Orchestra Teacher at Edmonds-Woodway High School (.6 FTE) and College Place Elementary (.2 FTE). This is a leave replacement position for the 2022-2023 school year ONLY.

    NOTE: Per Governor Jay Inslee’s proclamation on August 18, 2021, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption as a condition of employment.

    Required Qualifications:

    Washington State Teaching Certificate with a Music endorsement or the ability to obtain one prior to the position start date.

    Salary:

    2021-22 Salary Schedule range: $69,131.00 through $124,959.00 (2022-23 salary schedule yet to be finalized). Placement on this salary schedule is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying Educational Level and Certificated Work Experience and will be prorated for less than a full year and/or FTE.

    Benefits:

    Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .5 FTE continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .6 FTE contract (continuing or non-continuing). Exceptions may be made for certain job share and/or leave replacement situations.
