Description

The Elementary Music Teacher will create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for music education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; to establish positive relationships with parents and with other staff members. This position may be assigned to more than one elementary school in a given school year. The teacher shall allow for flexible scheduling to work with staff and meet building needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required;
• Certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in General Music (1515) for grades K-6.
