Mt Zion Lutheran Church is a congregation that is Joyfully Growing Disciples in Christ. As a community, we come together regularly and celebrate. We also respond gracefully to grief and harm. Music is a powerful element of our celebrations, bringing out joy to its fullest and helping us when we are journeying through grief and harm. We are seeking musicians who will help bring richness to our worship as we celebrate the resurrection and God’s grace.

Mt Zion has two worship services. Our early service features liturgical music and hymnody along with a vocal choir and a bell choir. Our late service features contemporary Christian music with the desire to have a band – piano, drums, bass, and vocals – leading worship. We formerly had a director of music who covered all the roles above. However, we know musicians bring a variety of skills with them, and we are open to working with applicants to find the best possible job configuration(s) to cover the music needs of our congregation.
