The ideal candidate is interested in providing inclusive practices as a part of a team-oriented culture. This involves planning quality instruction, executing purposeful lessons, and evaluating student-learning outcomes to inform future instructional decisions. Candidates should also have a passion for modeling positive contributions to the school culture through high expectations. Assignment will include the following: Choir Teacher and Assistant Orchestra at Horning Middle School 50%, 1 AP Music Theory at South High School 20%, and eAchieve (online) 30%. An interest in working with diverse students and families is required. Bilingual Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. More Information: Horning Middle School has a school-wide house model to meet the academic and social emotional needs of learners. At the heart of the house structure at Horning is a dedicated school-wide advisory period.
