Audio Visual Project Manager
Our client is a global company who are at the leading edge of technology in the Audio Visual world, including virtual technology, multi-dimensional sound and crystal clear display taking customers from conceptual phase of the project to reality with the support of top class designers and engineers.
They are looking for a Project Manager whose role is Project Planning including but not limited to Resource allocation, Procurement and Logistics.
Tight budget control and resource management
Supporting Sales Team to accurately quote for delivery of projects
Working closely with the wider team on the technical delivery.
Summary of principal duties and responsibilities:
Project planning which will cover:
o Development of specific timelines for projects to deliver an accurate budget.
o Allocation of resources to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
o Coordination of procurement to ensure goods are available to the project as planned
o Coordination of logistics to ensure budget efficiency and to keep site works on schedule.
Monitor and manage the progression of other trades and how each relates to tasks and project timelines to allow for forecasting of conflicts as well as allow for proactive solutions to minimize the effects on labour allocations, timeline constraints and budgets.
Staff deployment – develop and maintain a technician scheduling platform.
Maintain communication with Lead Technicians and Technical Management on status of projects and task lists.
Set appropriate project milestones and maintain them through effective communication with Sales Team, Technical Team, and client.
Process management – develop and maintain effective analytics to measure profitability and efficiency.
Develop and document standard operating procedures, site safety programs and project timelines.
To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Senior Management team
Based in North London/Herts salary is circa £55k p.a. doe plus benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have:-
3+ years project management experience
Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
Flexibility of schedule, including weekends and evenings.
Computer knowledge including but not limited to MS Office, Vectorworks and or AutoCad programs.
Proven technical management skills of personnel in the live event environments
Ability to travel internationally (passport)
OSHA or other relevant qualifications an advantage
