Music teaching role starting ASAP at Secondary school in London

£140 – £240 per day depending on experience.

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary School based in Walthamstow, North London are looking for a strong teacher of Music who can deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school, and join a performing Music department. This position is to start ASAP and last until the end of the Academic year.

• Your new role

Starting ASAP, you will be responsible for teaching Music across KS3 and KS4. As this is a long term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom. This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long term position, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions.

• What you’ll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience of teaching Music across KS3 and KS4. You must be available to start ASAP and ideally be able to work through to July 2022, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
