University (Atlanta, GA), seeks applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Music Performance (tenure-track) in Vocal Studies.
Emory College of Arts and Sciences is a liberal arts college within a top-ranked research university located in the southeastern hub of
Atlanta, GA. Successful applicants will teach two courses per semester including applied voice for undergraduate students at various levels.
Additionally, they will be invited to develop new courses that reflect their area of performance expertise. The department seeks a colleague
who will collaborate with faculty across the university to create new opportunities for our students, drawing on existing campus resources,
while extending the scope of our engagements regionally, nationally, and internationally.We seek an active performer with a nationally and/
or internationally prominent profile as such. The successful candidate should exhibit the potential for a distinguished career as a
performing artist as manifested by performances, recordings, festivals, and masterclasses. Candidates who are accomplished in performing
across diverse musical styles andperformance traditions are especially encouraged to apply.We encourage applications from candidates who
possess a comprehensive understanding of the professional field of vocal arts. A commitment to undergraduate voice teaching within a liberal
arts environment, and inclusive vocal pedagogy are strongly desired. The candidates’ accomplishments for this position must reflect
their commitment to advocating for and working with an inclusive student population and their ability to contribute in meaningful ways to
