Perform a music theatre tune of your choice, learn a new song, develop basic acting techniques, dance and refine your approach to the all-important audition under the tutelage of an accomplished industry expert. This is a must-attend for any future music theatre star!
About your teacher:
Jake Tyler is an AIM graduate and multi-talented performer who recently made his directorial debut with The Mitchell Old Theatre Company for the Sydney production of “Heathers: The Musical.”
Jake has had an incredible career in music and theatre. He sang in the choir at Adele’s concert in front of 96,000 people. An original music artist in his own right, he’s also starred in a New Zealand production of “Cats” and just appeared in “The Deb,” a new Aussie musical from Rebel Wilson’s production company.
Jake has also been a part of Squabbalogic productions such as Kiss Me Kate! and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. He toured with Echelon Productions as George in Treasure Hunt, later joining the Australian Shakespeare Company in Jungle Book – The Next Chapter.
In 2019, Jake joined international group The Tap Pack and performed as Prince Phillip in Opera Australia’s world premiere of Whiteley – The Brett Whiteley Opera and took the role of Adam in Opera Australia’s Marriage of Figaro.
